Our festival is an eco-friendly concept.  Just think of all the emissions we're saving by NOT flying our artists half way around the world to get to you.

In 2008, half our acts were from overseas, but we didn't waste a tonne of carbon bringing them to the UK.  By virtue of our online festival site, Geek Pop was also sparkly clean and free from discarded plastic, cans and flyers.  We didn't print tickets and our entire marketing campaign was carried out via the web.

Admittedly, we are now branching out into live events, but we won't be letting our green credentials slip. We're doing our very best to invite artists from within an easily commutable distance of each gig. And we'll be encouraging everyone to use public transport to get to the venues.
