About the band:

alatinpunkcircle spent a while studying physics. Then he spent a while trying to recover, by making music. The result was a debut album Don’t Divide By Zero, an electronically produced mishmash of songs about the Universe. A second album, Bells & Whistles, swiftly followed.

Influences are drawn from a wide range of musicians, bands, electronic artists and DJs (as well as physical phenomena), manifesting themselves in quirky, glitchy tracks, some purely instrumental. Having finally got over his degree, alatinpunkcircle (Ian Cullen) now says he has “moved away from the geekier end of the spectrum”. He likes catchy riffs and instrumental sections.

Nanobot was written to order for Geek Pop ‘09. “I wouldn’t judge a Nanobot for being small, I’d befriend it, as should you,” says Ian. ” Nanobots are cool, undoubtedly.”

Message From The Cosmos is a medium for a digitally encoded message, alatinpunkcircle’s own personal cosmic background radiation. See if you can work out what the message is. >>> Add alatinpunkcircle as a friend on myspace. And you can download alatinpunkcircle’s first album (free of charge) here.
