About the band: The Geek Pop crew bumped into Bert Miller & the Animal Folk one afternoon at the Solar Stage during the 2009 Green Man Festival in Wales. During their gig, the solar-powered generator providing the means to amplify their performance gave out. Undeterred, the band persuaded the audience to scooch forward and played a bit louder, finishing up their set with songs about worms and seeds to rapturous applause. The Geek Pop crew knew then they had to have them. Currently based in Devon, UK, the band regularly gig around the southwest. >>> You can details of their forthcoming gigs on their MySpace page.
