About the band: Dr Stu is not just the brains behind the 2009 sci-pop classic ‘Neutron Stars’, but also the author of about a million (more or less) science books and articles. As every good writer knows, it’s impossible to work without an urgent deadline, and Dr Stu took this to the extreme last year when he wrote and recorded ‘Neutron Stars’ the weekend before the festival. He’s more than a little bit nifty on the electric guitar and has played to sold out audiences in a version of Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds.
