ABOUT MJ HIBBETT: Mark Hibbett has been writing and performing music for 15 years. He's released four studio albums - his second, 'This Is Not A Library', was named album of the year by Rolling Stone magazine. BBC sessions have included a live session from the Maida Vale studios and specially commissioned songs for Steve Lamacq's 6Music show. In 2008, he made his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe with his autobiographical show 'My Exciting Life In ROCK'. His two man rock musical, 'Dinosaur Planet' is currently being recorded for release later this year. 'A Little Bit' and Mark's duet with Vom Vorton, from Geek Pop's Geek Like Me mini-album, make their debut at this year's festival, but Mark also revisits some tracks from way back when. His internet hit 'Hey Hey 16k' was originally released in 1999 as the first internet-only single. The 2011 re-recording is slower in pace but heavier on the guitars. 'Never Been Superstitious' is a reworking of one of Mark's earlier and more obscure tracks.
