ABOUT JONNY BERLINER: Few can pull off a song about being best friends with a lobster quite as well as Jonny Berliner can. His lyrical talents aren't restricted to crustaceans, however - he's also written songs about dark matter, evolution and particle physics. Is there any scientific subject that man *can't* turn his hand to? Apparently not, because his third appearance at Geek Pop sees Jonny release his first fully produced, hand-clapping version of 'The Genetics Calypso' on the Geek Like Me mini-album. Previewed for the Geek Pop Sessions on Green Man FM, this new masterpiece of musical geekery neatly sums up the structure and function of DNA with a guaranteed snort at least every verse. (And minus any of the stuffiness that will send you snoring into your textbooks.) In a previous life, Jonny was the science troubadour for the Guardian's Science Weekly Podcast, providing inspiration for Geek Pop's first festival in 2008.
