ABOUT MATT WESTCOTT: Matt Westcott spends his daytimes building websites and making databases out of things, and extends his unhealthily analytical view of life into his music. His piano-based singer-songwriter-comedy-geek-blues-pop hails from a world where computer graphics researchers have their own theme tune, spam emails are lyrics to songs waiting to be written, and Paris Hilton has a pet monkey. A regular inhabitant of the February Album Writing Month community, Matt's cunning songwriting weapons of choice include the 'Random article' button on Wikipedia, and the sound chip of his trusty Sinclair ZX Spectrum - which have seen his way to many musical triumphs, including the Quichefeast project , an album written and recorded in one day.
